HISTORY

 The company was formed in 1969 as a closely held North Carolina private stock corporation offering 100,000 square feet of space for contract and public warehousing and distribution in Charlotte and the Southeast. Over the past 30+ years, DTI has grown to operate approximately 1,000,000 square feet of public and contract warehouse space and now employs 200 people.

Today, its principal offices and operations are still located in Charlotte and serves the entire Southeast. Stock ownership is closely held by the officers, managers and directors of the company with control exercised by operating officers and management.

Our business is providing a full range of contract and public warehousing services to the industry in Charlotte and throughout the Southeast. This includes a variety of public warehousing services, cross-dock services for retailers and manufacturers, contract warehousing management operations, and transportation management. In addition, the company is the operator of Charlotte Foreign Trade Zone #57.

DTI Warehousing FacilityAs a logical extension of its service areas, the company also operates a record storage company, a repackaging division, freight forwarding services, trucking, consolidation, and pool distribution in support of its accounts.

The company's management possesses a broad and well-versed background in warehousing, transportation and distribution. It enjoys an excellent reputation in the community and throughout its industry for high-level performance to its customers. Management of the company is able to provide current and past customer account references attesting to the quality and reliability of its performance.
